Made in a Zapotec village called San Marcos Tlapazola by the famous "Women of Red Clay."

Tlapazola has an ancient tradition of making comales, of which has inspired this fantastic pottery. Each piece was diversified until it turned into a complete collection.

The intense red color of these pieces is given by a slip with a special clay gather from a hillside near the village and then delicately burnished with quartz stone.

Set of three pieces: Bowl + salad plate + dinner plate

Style: San Marcos Tlapazola

Material: Oaxacan Red Clay

Dimensions: 8" (plate) / 10" (plate)

Volume: 14 ounces
